Privacy notice

How we handle the details you give us when registering for JUBEL PRESENTS: THE CAUSE.

Who is responsible

Jubel is the data controller for the information collected through this form. For anything relating to your data, email hello@jubelbeer.com.

What we collect

Your first name, surname, venue name, email address, phone number and the Jubel contact you selected, plus the date and wording of the privacy notice shown to you and whether you opted out of future marketing.

Why we use it

To review your application, verify you with your Jubel contact, and email you confirmation of your application and — if verified — a link to the event with a unique promo code. Unless you tick the opt-out box on the form, we will also email you from time to time about future Jubel events and opportunities. We never sell your details or use them for anything else.

Marketing and your opt-out

Marketing emails are optional. You can opt out when you register by ticking the box on the form, by clicking unsubscribe in any email, or by emailing us — we record your choice against your registration and act on changes immediately. Opting out does not affect the emails we must send you about this event.

Lawful basis

For handling your application and sending event emails: our legitimate interests in organising the event you asked to attend, and taking steps at your request. For marketing emails: our legitimate interests in promoting similar Jubel events to trade contacts, relying on the "soft opt-in" under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, with a clear opt-out at the point of collection and in every email. You can object or unsubscribe at any time, and you can ask us to delete your record.

Who can see it

The Jubel team members responsible for verifying applications, and our hosting and email providers acting as processors on our instructions. It is not sold or shared with anyone else, and it is stored within the UK/EEA or under appropriate safeguards where a provider transfers data elsewhere.

How long we keep it

Registration records are kept for 90 days after the event, after which they are deleted. If you have not opted out, we keep your email address for marketing about future Jubel events until you unsubscribe or ask us to stop.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, ask for it in a portable format, and object to marketing at any time — just email us and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to your data protection regulator (in the UK, the ICO at ico.org.uk).

Emails

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and we act on unsubscribes immediately. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.
